Description
Ceramic Honeycomb Substrate-----Material:cordierite
⊙ Our ceramic honeycomb substrate is used in a variety of catalytic convertor applications to help vehicle manufacturers to meet emission regulations.
⊙ We are a major supplier of cellular ceramic substrates for catalysts in China.
⊙ Automobile exhaust gases are conventionally purified with a catalyst supported on a ceramic body able to withstand high temperature. The preferred catalyst support structure is a honeycomb configuration which includes a multiplicity of unobstructed parallel channels sized to permit gas flow and bounded by thin ceramic walls. The walls of these channels provide the surface for precious-metal catalysts that convert noxious emissions into carbon dioxide, nitrogen and water vapor.
⊙ Our substrates enable highly efficient emissions control system by offering:
1. High surface area
2. Excellent thermal mechanical durability
3. Low pressure drop
4. Rapid light-off
5. System cost efficiency
